Dressing Size Guide
All dressings contain the same copper antimicrobial technology.
The difference is size and format.
All dressings may be trimmed to size if needed. For proper coverage, cut the dressing slightly larger than the wound edges.
Non-adhesive dressings require secondary fixation and should be secured with medical tape, gauze wrap, or cohesive wrap.
Choose based on wound size, shape, and whether you prefer adhesive or non-adhesive.
Small Surface Wounds
→ 2 × 2 Adhesive
→ 4 × 4.5 Two or Three-Layer (Non-Adhesive)
Ideal for small wound areas requiring spot coverage.
Select a size that extends slightly beyond the wound edges.
Longer or Linear Wounds
→ 2 × 8 Adhesive
Designed for elongated wounds such as incisions or narrow surface areas.
Choose a size that extends slightly beyond the wound length.
Medium Surface Areas
→ 4 × 8 Non-Adhesive
Provides broader coverage for moderate wound areas.
Use with medical tape, gauze wrap, or cohesive wrap for secure placement.
Large Surface Areas
→ 8 × 8 Non-Adhesive
Designed for wide coverage and full-area protection.
Use with medical tape, gauze wrap, or cohesive wrap for secure placement.
Ideal for Recurring Wounds
Best Value for Recurring Small Wounds
If you experience recurring small wounds such as boils or repeated flare-ups, larger non-adhesive sizes can offer greater flexibility and value because they can be cut to size.
Many customers choose:
→ 4 × 8 Non-Adhesive
→ 8 × 8 Non-Adhesive
These larger formats allow multiple custom cuts from one dressing while still providing full coverage when needed.
Secure with medical tape, gauze wrap, or cohesive wrap.
Areas with Movement or Natural Creases
→ 4 × 4.5 Three-Layer (Dual-Sided)
Designed for areas that bend, move, or have natural folds where antimicrobial protection is needed on both sides.
If additional fixation is needed, apply medical tape around the outer edges of the dressing to help maintain antimicrobial protection on both sides of the wound.
Narrow or Tunneling Wounds
→ 1 × 7 Ribbon
Ideal for wound channels or narrow applications requiring targeted placement.
Cut to the desired length as needed. Secure with appropriate secondary fixation if required.
